Advise for parents that host

Hello I'm a new host to Airbnb I'm a disabled mum and I did tick I wanted government ID but so far no guests have provided this so I need to know how to check guests are safe to be in my home with my children because I've been booked up and I have my children sleeping in my room on a blow up bed and not in their bedrooms because I don't know if guests are safe .... I will have to leave Airbnb if I can't check guests out as I feel it's too risky . I have read Airbnb terms on this but didn't understand  it as it seemed to be geared towards the guest and not the host ? Please can other Airbnb parents advise ? Thank you so much
