AirBnb doesn't convert my password account to SSO

I have an account with AirBnb and it was setup with username and password with a Gmail account. Now I want to convert it to an SSO account. But when I login with Google SSO and get directed to AirBnb, it throws a message "Looks like you already have an account. Please login instead.". Ideally the first time Aribnb should ask me to convert my account to Google SSO instead of username/password which it doesn't.

Airbnb support has no idea what I am asking but it is industry standard.

Finally, someone in AirBnb understood my problem. AirBnb support has no clue what I am asking.
