Last November, I stayed in Dubai and at the end of the stay I asked the Host if I can extend my stay and he said yes. I tried to do the extension through Airbnb App but it was not working and kept getting errors. I informed the host of the problem so he suggested me to pay cash and he will take care of the process, so I kindly trusted him and paid him cash. He ended up not fixing or updating Airbnb that I paid him and he added those extra days in my stay so Airbnb didn't get the money of these extra days! They did not try to inform me of this issue so I unintentionally didn't know there is a problem!
all what I received was an automatic message that there was an error in payment .. I thought it was the same old error messages when I tried to do the extension and they will fix it.
Now I am trying to book for my next trip to Canda on the 24th of this month and I found out am blocked!, I tried to reach to customer service but they keep forwarding me to different department until one explain the problem to me , they keep saying a specialist will contact you soon regarding this but no one did!
I am paying the bad price of this as my trip to Canada is soon and I cant book a housing!, I was fooled by the last host and I unintentionally did not realize the problem until recently!
I need urgent help to explain what happened and get the block removed.
