Airbnb displays incorrect pricing

Changed our pricing from 1620 to 1950. Airbnb displays 1856. Smart pricing off, no other charges, all days of week same price. Contacted airbnb. Finally went to support..told this is the algorithm ! It has displayed our correct price for 3 years. So this is a new change, with no explanation. This misleads guests. They have to go into the dates to ascertain the correct price, and are disappointed when they are told it is more.

Airbnb is testing new ways to dispay prices (in some regions). It was recently announced, eg :

This post does not explain why a set price of 1950 with no fees is displayed as 1856. No mathematical calculation explains this !
