Airbnb holding my payment

Hi, It's been two weeks since my last reservation, there was an extra guest which was updated a day before, Airbnb sent a message saying they were having trouble collecting the payment for the the reservation, well, the reservation took place and now Airbnb hasnt released my payment, I called and they told me that the payment they were trying to collect was the one for the extra guest, I see on my pending transactions that the payment for the reservation (minus the extra guest) is there pending and was suposed to be paid on 5/4. After several calls and messages they always tell me the same thing and I never get a follow up call or mesage about my issue, it's me who I end up calling again, they told me my case was marked as "urgent" and directed to the payments department, unfortunately there is no way to contact any other department but the costumer service one which sucks.

What can I do now,?

Aljandre - Did you eventually get paid? How long did it take, if so?

I'm having the same issue... last week I extended a guest stay for 4 additional days, I was paid for the initial 2 day stay but not the additional 4 days because Airbnb was having trouble collecting that money from the guest. I'm not sure why Airbnb would allow the guest to extend their stay before confirming payment!

It's been a week now since I was suppose to get paid. I'm really angry because the guest was fine the first couple of day but then became the worst guest I ever had stay by breaking all my house rules which included no parties and no smoking. The last night of their stay I was awaken by the smell of weed and the police was out front of my house. When I went to write a negative review, the guest was no longer active. It's very frustrating to deal with horrible guest and not get paid.

Airbnb makes 4 billion in revenues and can't pay $400 for a service that was rendered by a superhost! I will no longer extend anyone's current reservation because I'm not confident I will be paid in a timely manner, if at all. I would suggest everyone to not alter reservation, just create a new one.
