Airbnb host - recent stay as a guest - how to see star rating left by other host for stay

Hello One And All,

Good Evening,

Wondering if anyone may be able to help please with this little query? Having recently completed a stay at another host’s lovely property - the host and ourselves have now submitted both of our reviews. Cannot seem to find where the star rating(s) is that they have submitted for us as their guest. We are currently trying this on a Apple iPad - do we need to get the laptop out?

Guests cannot see the star ratings left by hosts, only the written review. For hosts this is a wonderful thing. For guests, not so much.

Guests do not see the star ratings hosts have given them, @Adam-and-Maria0 . Your future hosts will see it, as you know as a host. 

If you had a good rapport with your host, you could ask them what they gave you. 

I've never worried about it. Nothing you can do about it one way or the other.

@Adam-and-Maria0   Guests can not see star ratings left for them by hosts, ever.

Other hosts also can't see the ratings received by guests, unless they have Instant Book activated.

Can you not see the star ratings even after you have said yes and they have booked, @Anonymous ?  I have IB activated, and can see the star ratings even after the stay is over, even after I have rated them (my rating is now included in their count), and even after a cancellation. I had no idea it was such a huge 'perk', and that non-IB hosting meant never seeing them ever.

@Lawrene0  Nope, they're never visible at any point. Unless you use IB. All that changes after confirmation is that the photo becomes visible.

@Anonymous , does the last name show up after confirmation? Hope you at least get that.

I do appreciate seeing the ratings, because they don't always match the written review. Even so, I don't cancel. I'm just a bit more wary, a bit more careful to make sure they know the house rules, and it has turned out okay so far.
