Why hasn't Airbnb started the service in Iran yet?!

Two main reasons are invloved behind this restriction :

1 - Sanction which US applies on companies in some areas specially banking sector and Airbnb also should respect these rules.

2 - Commercial affairs in Iran are is not clear and does not support long term benefits of companines.

Ive had a look at this myself as I'm about to visit Iran and the best thing i've found is https://www.rentiranapartment.com I've called them several times and they always seem to answer their emails promptly so seem professional so far.
