I am about to call the news this is so bad. They say now they took they takes only in 2019.
NOT TRUE. Refuse to give us that in writing and refuse to pay the missed tax.
Its an mystery as to why they collected tax on OLDER listings but not this 1 out of 18.
Does anyone know how to talk to someone who works with facts?
I feel like I should turn them into the Texas Comptroller
According to this:
https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/1036/how-does-occupancy-tax-collection-and-remittance-by-airbnb-... ., the taxes taken are listed in your Transaction History ( https://www.airbnb.com/users/transaction_history/#gross-earnings ). They maybe also occur in the CSV files (to download) ?
Hope this helps (If not: i have no knowledge of the US tax systems, so maybe another host can help you)

If airbnb hasn't taken the taxes, that's not necessarily your fault according to the questions and answers on the Texas.gov website

The link below has various way's to contact airbnb
I have been in the phone and we have sent written notice. So they took taxes for all but one of 18 listings. A newer one that is not as old as the others.
So unprofessional.
They took taxes in all but one listing. Their error. All is shown on the reports.
