Airbnb not releasing our money

Hi, we are new to Airbnb. We set up our account middle of December 2016. We added our preferred payment option (Aussie bank account).

Our bank account still has not been verified by Airbnb meaning we have had guests stay over the Christmas period however Airbnb is holding our money and not releasing it.

I have been calling their support line daily for the last week. Our bank account is showing as pending verification - it has now been over 18 business days.

Airbnb informs me on each occassion that 'they are looking into this for us' They own us $$$$.

Has anybody else experinced this issue? 

How can I get this resolved? At this point in time it looks like they will never release our money.

Have you reached out to your bank to see what needs to happen from their end to expedite the verification?  Often the bank refuses to allow the direct deposit without some release from you.  A "pending verification" is a verification from both Airbnb AND your bank.  It's not Airbnb alone.

Thanks, we have been in touch with our bank (Westpac) they have not had any contact from Airbnb. 

I have been asked by Airbnb to re-add the bank account again which I have so here we go again...waiting game begins!

Hi, can you please advise me of the airbnb contact number? We are new to it as well, we use paypal for receipt of funds, and airbnb has not released funds from our latest booking with guests in on Thursday.
