Airbnb's commission/percentage

Hello,

I read somewhere that Airbnb's commission is 3%, but with the bookings I get, I see that there is almost a 10% service fee.

So, what is the correct and actual figure?

@Anna204 In most cases, your guests are charged roughly a 12% service fee. YOU, as host, are charged a separate 3% fee.

So, for a $100 booking, your guests will pay about $112. (The $100 plus 12%.) You, on the other hand, will receive $97 (The $100 minus 3%.)

Make sense?

That is very clear. Thank you.

all my previous guests had gone with 3%. I do not understand how from one moment to another, changed to more than 10%. that has greatly harmed the amount of guests. the number of guests decreased.  I have spoken several times with Airbnb but they do nothing. my rate be aligned to the market but not the Airbnb. what do you think 10% for Airbnb?
