Hello,
Sometimes I communicate to a client that I will respond in a few days.....but I keep getting pushy reminders from Airbnb to accept or refuse the offer.
I have not been well, had explained that to my client.....I finally gave up and just declined her offer to stop the pushy automated reminders from Airbnb.
I ended up explaining that to my client and gave her enough info that if she needs a more urgent confirmation, she is free to search elsewhere, but also free to wait for my response once I feel fit again to take on her request.
What do you others think?
What else could I have done?
Thank you,
Carrie

Agree- snooze your listing until feeling better. It is also an option to block days on your calendar to delay bookings for a period of time.
You've 24 hours to accept or decline an offer.
if you're not well enough to be able to manage your bookings I would put your listing on Snooze until you can deal with bookings
I will look for the "snooze" button (if there is one).
Thank you.
I wouldn't have suggested using the snooze button if there wasn't one @ Carrie 🙂 😞
I did not mean any offense to anyone. @Helen3
I am just under major pressure and not feeling well enough to confirm offers right now. I did not have time today to go searching for a snooze button. The simplest thing for me was to block the calendar until I think I may feel better again (which is something I know where to locate quickly).
Thank you to everyone who gave advice. @Elaine-and-Duane0 @Helen3

Thank you, Elaine and Duane!
I completely relate about how horrible the frequent reminders are. And I've brought this to Airbnb's attention. I've been hosting since 2011 and a frequent traveler since 2012. In the beginning, a reminder or two was all that Airbnb sent - be it travel or or host. But now, it's rediculouse andcexploitive of my time.
To be specific, I inquired yesterday re an accommodation. I received a reply from the host. If I wanted to book, I would have. At least I would have after the second reminder from Airbnb, but oh my goodness, I have received no less than 5 reminders via IM and email to book and that the property is still available. Please do not respond that I can turn off reminders because I appreciate one or two, max but honestly, five? Airbnb please respect my time. I make a lot of money for you both as a Superhost and a frequwnt traveler.
