Airbnb will not accept my ID card

I have tried over 6 times to finish my verification. 

I have downloaded my  West Virginia Concealed Weapon‘s permit ID over and over but they are not accepting it. Saying something went wrong. 

Hand gun carrying permits are a government issued Photo form of  identification.  I have used this ID card everywhere including airport security etc. 

 What if you are someone who doesn’t have a license or a passport or no other form of government or national ID??? 

Airbnb Policy with this needs to change NOW!!

The TSA doesn't accept a CCW as a valid form of ID. They require it's issued by a state's DMV or equivalent (not a police/sheriff organization as many CCW's are). CCW's do not have residency requirements, which could be part of the reason they aren't considered valid.

It was just dumb luck whatever TSA agent was poorly educated enough to let you through.

A handgun permit isn't one of the forms of ID Airbnb accepts. If that's the only form of ID you have, you'll need to get in touch with Airbnb customer service to see if they have a work-around for you.

If you expect to do much traveling, it would be worth your time to get a driver's license or passport.

I do have a  drivers license and also a passport. I have traveled all over the world.  I said WHAT IF someone doesnt have a drivers license or passport.  Then Why can’t this be used as a government issued ID, for Airbnb verification. 

I know the TSA requirements. I have used it at several airports, but not all have accepted it. 

I did contact Airbnb about this.
