Automatic length of stay reduction

Can the system automatically reduce the minimum length of stay requirement if within say 30 days of the current date?  We have a 3 night minimum but would like it reduced to 2 if not booked 30 days out.

It is a static system, so programming rules like "if x then y"  are not possible.

With rule sets you can apply such a change manually to the desired time period.
