As an example:
Let's assume you have a booking from 7th - 14th July, another from the 21st July to 28th July and operate a 3 night minimum stay.
When a potential guest views your main availability calendar it shows the 19th and 20th as unavailable as well. Now if that guest is trying to make a full week booking then they will pass your property by.
In the unlikely event that they go ahead and try to book their dates anyway and select a start date in the 'pop up' calendar this still shows the 19th and 20th as unavailable, which magnifies the issue. If however they still persist with trying to book the 7 nights and click on the end date miraculously the 19th and 20th become available.
So Airbnb you need to address the issue with how the main availability calendar is initially loaded and either NOT show minimum stay nights, such as 19th and 20th above, greyed out or introduce some colour coding.

yes, it is confusing, I agree.
The best would be if all booked dates would always be gray and all available dates white.
The simplest solutions are always the best.
@Ian535 I don't understand- I also have a 3 night minimum and my calendar doesn't show like that. If one reservation ended the 14th and another started the 21st, all the nights in between would show as available. They only show as unavailable if the length of time btween bookings is less than 3 days. Are you sure you don't have 2 day prep time or advance notice checked in your settings?
When I have a look at one of @Ian535 listing (that one with 4 reviews), the 19th and 20th June show as available. But one cannot book it, since the duration is less than 3 nights.
So if you have a booking from 7th - 14th July, another from the 21st July to 28th July and operate a 3 night minimum stay, the 19th and 20 th July will show as available. But if you chosse 19th July as the start date, these two days will turn grey.
I think @Ian535 wants to say that when you go to the reservation form and click on check-in you will only see the dates when check-in is allowed. When you click on check-out then you only see the dates when check-out is allowed. All other dates will be grey-out the same as they are already booked. So it is confusing, guests don't know if those dates are booked or not.
For example, if you allow check in and out only at Saturday then your calendar will show Saturdays like the only available dates. The rest of the calendar will be gray and look like it is booked.
