Available on my Calendar but not available on AirBnB guest search engine. Losing out on huge revenue

I have just found out my unit is available on my calendar 16 December to 31 December 2019 BUT does not appear on the available to rent AirBnB search engine. Losing out on a huge sales opportunity over the Christmas holiday period (appears this may have happened last year as well but I never searched as a guest to book and never got a booking over this period also). AirBnB Technical Support working on the problem! No resolution in site! I do not have Instant Booking switched ON. Very niffed Superhost.

Your lsiting is not available for 16 dec - 31 dec. , so it is correct it does not appear on search engine.

Actually only 1 and 2 december are available dates in december to book

on my calendar 1 and 2, 9 to 13 inclusive and 16 to 31 December inclusive are ALL available. The fact guests cannot see this is my gripe with AirBnB and awaiting Technical Support to assist/ rectify. So not sure why you commented as not very helpful!

You wrote "BUT does not appear on the available to rent AirBnB search engine", which i interpreted as "your listing does not show up in search results when searching for those dates". And yes, THAT is correct, as the dates are not available to book, according to the listings calender 3 dec to 9 januari are not available. 

 

The search calender ("dates") is only a selector for guests:

The listing calender shows the actual availibility:

https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/show/14882107

 

You can try:

Block some of those discussed dates and then unblock them, to see if they become available.

If you have the multicalender at hand, try same on that one.

if you have rule sets applied to those dates, temporary remove them.

if you duplicate the listing (via option "duplicate") you can test if problem disappears
