Avoid bulk cancellations penalty - Coronavirus

Due to CoronaVirus, I consider canceling all my future reservations and then stop the listing.

According to Airbnb, a penalty will be incurred for each such reservation and will be deducted from future payouts. Since I plan to stop my listing there won't be any payouts.

Does anyone have such experience and knows if Airbnb tries to collect such penalties even though there won't be any payouts? and if so, how will it be done?

I don't know about that,  but I had to cancel 2 reservations due to family emergencies and now Airbnb wants to suspend my account if I cancel once more

The way hosts are being treated by AirBnB defies reason.  Who will continue to work with an organisation which treats its partners like this?  Booking.com, Expedia, HomeAway and all the others treat their hosts with respect.
