Awaiting payment and we can't do anything?

I have recently increasingly received booking request without payment. The help mentioned we could see before accepting but I can't figure out how. Does anyone know how?IMG_20190913_102358.jpg

This is annoying when guest places a last minute booking and they get 24 hours to complete the payment, and if they do not do it eventually, no one else will book it anymore as the yesterday has bacame today. It is even more annoying when the guest has clearly stated they ain't gonna continue but they can't find a way to withdraw this request, neither nor host.

 

If anyone has a clue how we can detect and get rid of this, appreciate your enlightenment.

@Monique241  That is the airbnb policy- you can't do anything to change it. This is one reason I won't take last minute bookings. I actually have a 3 day advance notice set-I don't like rushing around to accommodate people who don't plan ahead, and I have work commitments, so can't just drop everything without much notice. I know this doesn't work for all hosts, as some hosts' bread and butter is last minute bookngs, but if you can avoid it, do. At least you can make sure the payment's gone through if you have a day or two's advance notice set.
