Ok, so I know some will say the review process is "double blinded". In reality though, most guests who are difficult or bad know that if their host leaves them a review that it will be a bad one and will respond with a negative review of the host. This has happened to many of us.
This guest was absolutely miserable, rude and not appreciative of how much above and beyond we went for him. He is knew to airbnb and seems to think he can speak to hosts in the same manner he speaks to the front desk receptionist at a crappy 2star motel.
So anyways, I want to wait until the very last minute of the last hour to leave him a review so he does not have time to write one back.
I have seen some suggest 3 possible times that are the cutoff times to leave a review but I know that only 1 is correct. Those times are....
1) exactly 14 days after receiving the email notification to leave a review. E.g you receive an email on August 1st at 3:30pm so the last minute to leave a review is August 14 at 3:29pm. I don't think this one is true because I tried it once and it didn't work
2) At midnight of the 14th day so 11:59 pm of August 14.
3) exactly 14 days from the check-out time. E.g, they checked out on August 1st at 3:00pm which is our standard check-out time so the last minute to leave a review is 2:59pm on August 14th
Does anyone actually know which one is correct? I appreciate your help.
