We booked 3 night with this SUPER HOST, First night I asked if I could use a cotton sheets (old and yellow ) from other room for my kids cause the one he used was really uncomfortable( we had ONE and ONLY cheap half polyester half cotton material and host insisted that’s Italian traditional style “cotton”?!? If I need pure cotton or extra sheets we should tell him when we stepped in his apartment and now that’s a “extra sheets” for him and he would charge cleaning fee (Warned us NO touching other room bedding sheets, will cost cleaning fee. but our booking was for entire apartment ).
I send him pics about bathroom unclean work after this unpleasant conversation., those seems offended him seriously. Since that night he started playing dramatic“ double-faces ” between Airbnb text message and by phone.
Next night I exposed his old yellow dirty pad ( WITHOUT any protection layer!!) has BED BUGS issue and cost my kids full of RED RUSH on his legs and back.
He totally denied fact the pics I send to him through Airbnb and text me no one complains before and he REJECTED all words that might undermine his review in Airbnb as a SUPER HOST.
5 minutes later he called and shouted threatened me with POLICE arranging and ASK me to LEAVE his flat IMMEDIATELY with my two little kids in the middle of night. ( I was so afraid and ask his neighbor for help, he argued with his neighbor on the phone and warned him stayed away from his business. I Then he hang up the phone suddenly )
After his threatening phone call I started seriously worried my kids and me safety in this foreign country based on his behavior and personality. I’m also super tired with this glitter appearance but **** inside both situation and his apartment.
Around 3 am I reported to Airbnb the whole case and booked other hotel for my last day vacation. Three of us slept on one bed in his apartment for that night.
Next morning 7:25 am he texted me ACCUSED me cheating his money from Airbnb. After this he called me told me he will DRIVING from Rome to Florence for my room check out at 11am!! Me and my kids drop the keys 9am and left in TERROR!!!
Before I left I returned everything like we stepped in this apartment and took all the pics as a evidence cause he warned me before there were “ Evolution estimate cost” as the "cotton sheets".
Until we arrived to Airport I started writing review about this SUPER HOST, but until now I still didn't post in public cause I'm afraid. 😞
Now I'm back to my city and blocked his message but I realized I left me and my kids ID pics to him when we Check-in, this makes me really worry about it based on his personality, Can I ask Airbnb delete it from history or anyone has better solution?
