Hello folks!
I would love to get some advice ESPECIALLY from those who have been there/done this.
My situation is as follows: I have a 7bd waterfront/pool home and it’s been an incredible learning experience to have this as my first AirBnB.
This home was damaged in the 2017 Hurricaine so while the home repairs were being conducted, I purchased a 5th wheel RV to live in as the home sits on plenty of acreage to not have the RV crowd the house.
I am almost always gone but when I’m home, I live in the RV and have my home as a full time instant book home.
I have had quite a few guests inquire as to wether the RV was available to rent as an overflow to the home and since it’s where I live, I have always had to decline. But it did get my gears turning...
The 5th Wheel is rather large - it has 4 queen beds and a full size pull out sleeper. However it has a composting toilet so there is a bit of a learning curve to any guests unfamiliar with that system.
So my question to my more experienced and wiser peers: Would this stationary RV perform better as a stand-alone listing or should I simply increase the capacity of my main listing and annotate in the listing itself that some of the living quarters will not be in the main home but will be in the RV?
I hope this makes sense...
Thank you for any advice!
