I just had an inquiry about a 17 year old wanting to make a reservation. She is new to airbnb. I am fine with approving but I thought that you had to be the age of 18 to set up an account? Is this ok to approve her if she is a minor?
You do, unless you are economical with the truth.
In almost every state a minor cannot enter a contractual agreement. If you approve the booking and something goes wrong ABNB will most likely not cover the expense and your insurance may balk too. If she is meeting a male who is 18 or older at the residence it would raise a whole new level of legal implications. I would recommend following ABNB guidelines.

@Ernie--and-Lenora0 it's against AirBnB regulations. Full stop.
As others have mentioned, too many things could go wrong.
Thank you @Tim-and-Holly0 @Donna15 @Kittie-and-Chris0 @David126 For all your responses.
I let the girl know that she must be 18 in order to book with Airbnb and then I declinded her.
Anything else I should? Notify or flag Airbnb or just let it go?

Ok Thank you!
