Bookings in multiples of 7 days

Hi fellow hosts

Simple question. Our home we let out for either 7 days or 14 days. In fact any multiple of 7 days. Our check in and check out day is Friday.

airbnb lets you set a minimum stay ( which I set to 7 days) but if a put a maximum of say 14 days, people book to check in on a Friday but it could be anything from 7 to 14 days duration.

how to I set it so that guests can only book for a multiple of 7 days?

one idea is to set the minimum and maximum stay to 7 days but that means that if someone wants to stay for 2 weeks they have to book twice and pay booking fee twice.

i surely can't be the only one with this problem and I am sure there is an easy fix.

maybe Airbnb should introduce a check out day as well as a specified check in day. That would work

thanks

jim

Hello @Jim284,

You could investigate the rule set feature. It allows you to set checkin and check out days of the week.

By checking the boxes to prohibit checkin and checkout on all days except Fridays and giving the rule set a name it should be possible to create a rule that would work.

You then click on a date on your calendar and ,in the box on the right, select the start and end dates and your new rule set. I don't think that there's a "forever" option for the end date so you may have to select a date far in the future.
