Brighton - disabled access

I'm looking for accommodation for 4 people (plus 1 for 1 night only) for 3 nights 15-18 sept in Brighton.  BUT it needs to be accessible by someone who can't manage stairs, so ideally pretty much all on one level with a shower ( with a low entrance) or wet room.  Can anyone help please?  I've found one possible but wondering if there is anything else.

Thanks

Hi Margaret,
As a host in Brighton, I can tell you that disabled access is very difficult in Brighton. The buildings are old and because a lot are listed there really isn't much you can do about it. I would suggest looking outside the city centre at least and if you found something, go for it as it might not be there for long.

Yes that's what I'm thinking.  It is what it is.  I'm wondering if they might be better in a hotel tbh.  I know Brighton well enough as my son was at uni there and lives down there.  Everywhere he's lived, and I've stayed,  has had zillions of stairs!

Thanks

Have you looked at websites/holiday companies that specialise in accommodation for disabled people.

No I haven't.  Partly I suppose I was thinking of Airbnb as a better alternative to a hotel for a few days and decidedly cheaper. Also not sure where to look for disabled specifically. But thanks for that I will now.
