COVID-19 cancellation and refunds

With COVID-19 situation worsening by the day. Airbnb have only an extenuating circumstance cancellation policy until 14 Apr 20. Is there plans to extend this period beyond this, maybe a month by month basis, say until 14 May 20.  Followed by further reviews. Otherwise hosts and guests are out of pocket at a time when health should be coming our priority.
