Calendar not showing blocked dates

Hi,

The last few days I’ve noticed my calendar isn’t showing the days I had manually blocked out. When I do a search as a guest I can see the dates I blocked are indeed blocked but why can’t I see this easily on the calendar?

Currently when I look at my calendar it’s all white, I only know what’s blocked when I click on the dates.. ps this is on the app, I haven’t tried to look at this on my laptop as I use the app 99% of the time.

I have logged out and back in, deleted the app and reinstalled but still the same. I did update the app about 2 days ago not sure if this is connected. 

Any help or advice will be appreciated. I will add a screenshot if possible.

This is a real nightmare. Are Airbnb getting involved?? I use my iPad but as you all say none of my blocked dates show although they did until just recently. Any update from any in the community or -better still -from Airbnb admin team?

Me too exatcly the same problem .  I contacted superhost help team. It seams they don’t know an issue yet.

Thank you so much for your comments highlighting this difficulty with the Airbnb app. I know many of you have mentioned you have also reported this via our Customer Support Team which is great. @Lizzie I do hope that some proper measures will be taken in order to solve this matter as soon as possible.As you may have notice that many Airbnb hosts use the mobile app more than they log in on their account via a pc or laptop.Thank you.

I do have some good news. I just spoke with our product specialist. They have told me they have received a ton a feedback on this and currently the next update of the app will solve this problem. They are currently testing the update right now, to make sure the app still functions with it. Once they finish successful testing they will release the update, and that will fix the issue. 

I don't have a time frame on the update but it will happen soon.

Hi Lizzie I can now see that the dates blocked out are showing on the app but I cant see the notes I have written. So not really fixed properly yet.

I have sent through feedback to Airbnb and I encourage everyone to do so also.  The Airbnb app is what sets them apart from the competition.  To have something that is so vital to running a successful, well organised booking system drop off due to an update is frustrating and possibly something they did not realise would have such a large impact on hosts.  

 

So - everyone, send feedback.  The calendar is the heart of a booking system like this and if you can't see blocked days easily then the whole efficiencies of a calendar is lost.

+1 for me. I keep checking my laptop to make sure it's still blocked. Super nervous something is going to go wrong and I get booked when it's not available 😕 Hope these app bugs get ironed out. I've deleted and re dowloaded the app but no luck

very annoying new feature. i just contcatced airbnb too and they said they will not fix unless many people complain about it. everyone needs to file your claims here. https://www.airbnb.com/help/feedback.

I just did too. 

Everyone who’s updated the app seems to be experiencing the same problem so it must be a bug that will hopefully be fixed with the next update.
