Calling all Cumbrian hosts requiring flood insurance!

Hi there,

May I please have some recommendations from airbnb hosts in Cumbria who require flood insurance on their properties but  do not live in their host properties.

I have a house in Cumbria in a flood risk area but live in London, Admiral insurance are part FLOODRE scheme and will only offer me airbnb insurance if I live in the property,, (which I don't). I now have holiday home insurance with Towergate which offers £500,000 public liability but will not offer flood cover

Can anyone recommend any insurance company that are part of the FLOODRE scheme who also offer airbnb and holiday home cover????

@Sadhna-and-Pat0 Floodre have a relatively small number of Insurers participating so would not take too long to go through the list.

I assume Towergate provide Buildings and Contents cover for you, Liability does not really come into this particular aspect.

I would try a local broker, lots of rentals in that area and they would better know who is in the market.
