Can I cancel reservations for a 1 year renter offer?

I am new host for 2 weeks, with 9 accepted  reservations.  Yesterday I received offer for 1 year rental, starting next week.

I will wait till contract is signed. Please advise.  Thank you  John

@John925 If you cancel, you will be punished by airbnb - the first cancellation goes without any cost for you, the others - not. Of course with a renter for so long you won't care. You need to consider what is more profitable for you. Long-term rentals are at least half of what you generate on short-term stays, it may vary from place to place. 

Look at this:

"This home is on people’s minds.

It’s been viewed 500+ times in the past week."

If you got so many views is the last two weeks, it's really attractive to airbnbers.

Hi Marzena,

as a new host, I want to make sure.   I feel bad about this.  I hope I can still be a member after this.  I will inform the Guest's on Tuesday,

once the contract is signed.  

If and when the property becomes available again, I will ask them to consider booking our home, offer a free night + and/or discounts.  XO
