Can I pre-approve a guest by email?

Can I pre-approve a guest by email?

When I receive a Booking inquiry by email from <express@airbnb.com>, can I send the "Pre-Approval" by email by replying to that same email and typing some specific code onto the body of the email? Or do I always have to click on the "Pre-Approve / Decline" button, log into Airbnb's website and then actually pre-approve it?

@Kim51, no, you must respond via the AirBnB platform. I presume that the email directed you to the AirBnB website/platform? All legitimate enquiries & requests lead to the platform.
