iI Want to Rent Scooter To Airbnb customers Like Renting a room
Hi @Abel10,
Welcome to the Community Center!
Airbnb is primarily a platform for renting accommodation, although they recently announced that hosts can now offer Experiences - although this is only currently available in some cities. This Help Guide explains a bit more about what Experiences are - I'm not sure that just renting a scooter would work as an Experience, there would need to be more to it e.g. a scooter tour.
If you are just looking to rent a scooter out, I'm afraid you will need to use a different platform.
Also, I have moved your post here to the off-topic board, as it is a new question. I have given it a title, let me know if you want to change it!

I see that you have a listing, you could offer a scooter as an optional extra to your guests but the big issue here is insurance. I wanted to do this myself as I would love to find a scooter available if I was travelling but it was just impossibly expensive to do. I am sure America would not be different to Australia when it comes to safety etc. Tricky one!
I was thinking about the same thing.
Have you guys done any research / success with this?
Thank you
I am wondering the same thing. I have a 49cc scooter in Florida. Florida only requires a drivers license to drive one of these. We are very close to the beach and there are a ton is scooter rental places that charge 130 for 24 hours. I wanted to have the scooter in the garage with the keys in a smart lock box that I can lock and unlock via phone if the guests chose the options to use it during their stay. Is this a possibility through AirBnB or do you know of another app that would accommodate this?
Should one have a legal instrument in case it gets lost or stolen?
Thanks for your comments
