Can I require a two night stay if my calendar wasn't set that way?

There are about 3 times a year that my area is in high demand for lodging.  On those weekends I would really like to require a two night stay because I know someone will come along and want both nights.  But I want to be able to offer one night stays the rest of the time.  I currently have someone asking to book a single night on one of these high demand weekends.  Can I actually require a two night stay that weekend even though my calendar isn't set that way?  In hindsight, I should (and will) change my description to list the weekends where two night stays are mandatory, but my issue is current... I don't want to be penalized for declining her request.  I also don't want to appear to be a jerk.  Am I just out of luck this time?

Just to to Availability Settings and there you will find the ablity to create bespoke date ranges from a few days to a few months - and for those you can set both minimum and maximum numbers of nights stay. Easy!
