Can't add my cleaner because "This team member has already been invited to a team"

Hi everyone, I am trying to add my cleaner to our team, but when I put in her email and click invite, it gives an error message: "This team member has already been invited to a team". This is probably because she is on the team of another host and cleans for him. But why should that prevent her from being on our team also? 

Based on another conversation thread I found in this page, I deactivated our team and then re-created it but it did the same thing.

Does anyone have ideas?

No, never received an answer, we have just been doing without this feature.
