Can't change my phone number

Hi there, 

I changed phone carrier and got a temporary number that i put in my profile. 

Now my ordinary one is back but i can't update my profile because "this number was already verified" (or something like that) 

What should i do to get back to normal?

Thanks for any advice you could give

You'll have to contact Airbnb to discuss the issue.

Type "contact airbnb" in the "Search the community" box on these forum pages where you posted your question. Scroll down a little in the list of suggestions that appears and click on the "Contact Airbnb: A Community Help Guide[UPDATED]" one. That lists phone numbers and ways to contact them via Twitter or Facebook.

@Tiziana70   Actually you can go to your profile picture and click on it then settings. Add the second number verify it and then you can delete the old one and the new one becames the default. The Contact Information box in the upper right hand corner is where it is. The edit button is in the box at the end of the first section it's easy to miss it.

 I came across your reply on how to change a phone number but I am still helpless.

 I receive all texts and other typed communication with my guests on MY cell but ACTUAL  phone calls from guests go to my husbands cell. 

Nowere on my profile do I find a spot to change/add a phone number - any other info yes, but nothing on a phone number.

Any suggestions?

@Pia81  I am pretty sure you need to do this on a laptop not the phone app. Click on your profile. Select Setting then use the Contact Information to Edit the phone number change the number order. The first number listed is the one the guests get on their confirmation. So I think your husbands phone number must be listed first. If you are getting the texts that means your number was selceted in the text box below the contact box. Here's pictures:

thank you so much for your detailed reply. I found a number and actually spoke with a live person who took care of my problem. 

You are correct, this need to be done on a computer and not just the app which I have. The picture you sent looks totally unfamiliar to me which tells me it's time to fire up the old computer and check things out there.
