Can’t message hosts in Italy from Canada

We are trying to book a trip to Italy from Canada and can’t seem to message hosts. Always get a black screen after I send the message... any ideas on how to get a message through?

@Kara-and-Darren0  Is this a listing you found on the official Airbnb website?  Could you post the URL link so others can let you know if this is a real or some fake site listing? Sounds like an odd issue to be having.

Here are a few listings I am interested in in Italy and get a blank screen when I type a message and tap send...could just be an app problem...

Does anyone have accommodation recommendations for Southern Italy?

We fly in March into Bori, Ostuni and/ or a 

trulli in the country... Alberobello etc? Also a trulli outside Positano where we would shuttle in for the day?

Does sound strange. If it is definitely a listing on airbnb rather than a spam site, then give Airbnb a call @Kara-and-Darren0

@Kara-and-Darren0  If possible, maybe try messaging from a computer instead of the app? Those are official Airbnb listings, and I looked at the first one and it says the host has a 100% response rate and normally answers within an hour, and it has a lot of what read like legitimate good reviews, so it's likely a glitch on the app.

I do not get a secure url following those links, perhaps they are fake ?
