Cancellation Penalty Waived

Hello all,

Due to new laws in the country we host, we are no longer allowed to accommodate guests on one of our properties (a boat). The matter is out of our hands but we have had to cancel a number of up coming guests.

We have been charged USD 50 for each cancellation which we obviously find very unfair.

Can anyone please advise how we get in touch with airbnb to wiave this penalty?

@Sun-Xi0 you should not cancel by yourself but should contact Airbnb instead. They would cancel without a penalty for you bc this is extenuating circumstance.

Try to contact them and see what can be done.
