Cancellation Policy

I thought Airbnb cancellation policy included a 2 day prior to reservation start option but now the I see  1 day and 5 day options - am I misremembering or did Airbnb change the options. If they changed the options, when did they?

Also wondering about guests cancelling. 

I had a guest cancel one week before their reservation. Some one else then booked the weekend only for them to cancel the next day.

I have a 48hr cancel policy so they both met that requirement to get their money back.

My question is, do those guests get a "ding" on their profile like hosts do? Seems only fair that they do.
