I've just had a cancellation customer that should be arriving on Monday they missed the cancellation deadline by 10 minutes believe their reasons for cancelling are genuine even though will cost me money considerable about £450 they get half the money back. Is it possible for me to ask a irB&B to refund all their money or is the policy just the policy
What cancellation policy are you referring to? @Paul1421
Why are they cancelling? Can they cancel under extenuating circumstances. If not i would only offer to return additional funds if you can re-book the dates.
You can of course choose to refund the guest more than they are entitled to under your policy.
They were coming with their parents. Apparently the dog has just been diagnosed with kennel cough can't travel. However, it's a mutt point as they have got a full refund if the first emails said they were only gain 50%, but thank you very helpful on the future
One must try ha ha. Thanks to try and help me out
@Paul1421 if you are asking if you can give a full refund even though your policy only requires you to give a partial refund the answer is yes. At least that's how it works for me. When a guest cancels I receive an email from BnB saying how much of a refund has been given and there is an option that says give a full refund and that allows you to give a full refund or even a refund for any amount you choose. I myself tell a guest that have canceled I will refund any days that get rebooked and have given partial and full refunds months after they cancel.
