Cancelled booking reservation due to late answer and already got an acceptance of another host

Hello

I wanted to book a place and made a reservation request which the host had 24h to answer but it was on the same day. So I cancelled my request before he accepted it because we got an answer from a different host earlier.
Question: will this be charged or not since the reservation was not yet acceped from the host?

No, you will not have to pay for a cancelled reservation that had not been accepted by the host.
