Cancelled reservation - meant to change?

I have had to delay an upcoming trip by one day, and ended up cancelling my Airbnb reservation because the calendar for my booked accommodation was showing as unavailable for the following night. The host is now telling me that the room is indeed available and she can accommodate me, I think the problem was that she had an automatic one day block on her calendar after a guest departs. 

Is there anyone to rebook without having to pay another Airbnb service fee?

Thanks Amaris. The problem is that I already cancelled instead of amended. As mentioned I didn't think I could amend because the hosts calendar showed the days I wanted as 'busy'.

Would Airbnb be able to waive the rebooking fee?

Hmmm I see! 

Right, the simple answer is NO, Airbnb do not wave their fee. However if you do have some time to spare you might wish to contact them and appeal to them under the circumstances; nothing is ever set in stone and you just never know they might consider waving as it's the accommodation/ time more or less.
