Cannot Respond to a Review

Good Day,

 

 

During one of our first times hosting on Airbnb, we had to cancel a reservation due to double booking on another listing site (time was too short to update Airbnb calendar since we were still at work, Airbnb Instantbook was on, and this other listing company does not allow you to sync calendars).

Now, it seems that the guest left his portion of the cancellation review, but we cannot leave our review in response to his? In the screenshot above you can see that it's visible to us (thus within the time frame to leave a response), but I cannot click anywhere to leave our review to defend our reason for cancellation? Booking & Cancellation happened on 3 Oct 2017 (and we have 14 days to respond, which is running out now).

 

Please help us, how do we respond to this review since there is nowhere to click to respond and it seems I cannot contact Airbnb directly?

 

PS: We have also not received an email from Airbnb telling us to do a review.

Hello @Hannes17 If you cancelled the reservation, an automated response about cancellation will appear. You cannot review nor response to that.

We are unable to write a review on our guest Joe as it appears we have been put on "Stats"

We have still not been paid for this guest nor one who stayed with us in September 2016 (13 months ago!!)

It's strange that Airbnb can send us a "New Booking Confirmed" for Verushka arriving on 13th November when we have been placed on "Stats" and can't respond to do a review for guests who have stayed with us & our 15 day deadline has now run out!!!!

We are owed by Airbnb for 3 previous guests who stayed with us - one from September 2016 (now 13 months ago!!!)

There is nobody to address your queries to and all my emails are returned undelivered!!

It appears Airbnb is a TOTAL RIP-OFF!!!

Is there anyone out there in the CLOUDS???

We are a community mainly made up of hosts, not monitored by Airbnb. These are issues you need to speak to them about. Always contact them aboout payment issues straight away.

 

You can phone them and reach them via social media.
