Cant log in on mobile app

I'm unable to log in on the mobile app because it says:  'you do not have permission to access this resource'!!!

And yet I can log in on my laptop okay using the same log in.

 

This is really frustrating because I just had to rush home to accept a booking from a guest who wants to arrive today because I couldn't log in on my phone while I was in the restaurant (and, yes, I had a signal there).

 

What is going on?... because this happened a few days ago too, then all of a sudden it worked okay again.  Now it is happening again.

Solved. Go into app in settings. Allow telephone and location.

There is an answer it is solvable.

 

For me on a new Galaxy S 10 plus it wasn't let me get past sign in.  I uninstalled, downloaded, changed passwords on all devices, sent a day on the phone to Airbnb but the answer is in the app from Playstore. It downloads with Telephone and Location permissions Off by default. Apps- app settings- permissions- then toggle location and telephone to allow.  Bingo,done.

Thought this was going to work. Changed the permisskions ....But it didn't. So I added camera permissions and got further... but only as far as the "...may be undergoing maintenance or your coninection may have timed out...." dead end. Crikey! This is bad enough for us guests. For you hosts this must be very frustrating.

I tried manually enabling permissions but no luck. I can't log in using the app. The funny thing is I can log on the browser using the same phone.

I just reinstalled airbnb on my phone and each time i try to login it just keeps pending indefinitely. I am desperate dont know what to do. I have reverified my phone number, cleared browsing history and cookies but nothing works.

Any advice?

Login issues with mobile app on my phone , reinstalled and also cleared the cache and used data and no chance ... someone please help

Same situation here been working with air b&b for two days trying to get this fixed.  I even called Google and had an Android specialist attempt to help me fix this problem and they told me I needed to contact the Airbnb developer.  So far no return email from Airbnb developer.   

same here , its crazy ... no one cares or come back to update us. I already contacted live chat too , they keep saying they wait for answers from " specialized team " .... maybe 3 kids in a basement.

I factory reset my phone , download airbnb , give all the permissions possible manually  , try to login ... doesnt work

to anyone having the problem please call airbnb , we need to force them to react

I've had exactly same problem... App doesnt work at all. I've tried everything.... nothing works. It's bloody ridiculous for such a big company not to have a proper app. Please, hire someone who knows how to create a working app!

I have this issue as well and it's making managing bookings difficult. NO ONE AT AIRBNB SEEMS TO CARE as evidenced by the complete lack of response to this thread. My support request is waiting for a reply from a specialized team.

 

Maybe VRBO's app works.

Hello,

 

I can not log-in on the Airbnb mobile app by using my email and password.

I press on "Log in"

Then I choose "Log in via password"

Then I fill out my email and password and press "Log in"

Then I get the error message: " Error Please log in to continue "

i cannot even log in on my cell phone at all, i put my finger to the field for me to put the information needed and it wont do it. its like the website is in read only form

Im new to Airbnb. Access to site via laptop works great but after downloading app to phone, cant login to account. Says it will send passcode via SMS (text to phone) but after 3 tries, no code received. Tried to use option to receive automated call. No call. What is wrong with this tech/app? I have been in tech long time and am app/tech savvy.
