Cash Payment on Arrival - how to pay the fee and unblock my guests money?

I had a lot of problems trying to open Airbnb account. It was very complicated to reach some Airbnb site details, and hard to understand some functions of Airbnb. And I thought I did not make it.  I thought that my account on Airbnb is not completed and not active yet. Then I get a reservation. Besides, price on the Airbnb was not the one I wrote – cleaning fee was missing. Still, did not have payment method précised, because it was too complicated to understand and reach that part of Airbnb. This is why I ask money from my first guest from Bulgaria, and they paid to me in cash. Now I have a few problems:

  1. It is impossible to contact Airbnb with those problems;
  2. Those guest can be charged any way;
  3. I do not know how to pay fee to Airbnb, and I really want to do that ASAP.

If somebody from Airbnb read this, please instruct me how to pay the fee to Airbnb for *** reservation, and how to unblock her money?

Airbnb would not have let a reservation go through without payment. There is no option for cash on arrival. Airbnb receives the payment from the guest immediately the reservation is made. They hold this until after the first day your guest arrives and then you will get your payment minus the fee they charge us for their service. I suggest you put your listing on snooze ( orblock your calendar)until you read up on this forum how Airbnb works. There is a lot to learn and it will save you any headaches later if you just try to learn as much as you can at the beginning. Happy hosting!

Totally agree, do not go live until you know what you are doing.

No one from Airbnb checks this site. This is for hosts to chat with other hosts. Google the Airbnb # or Twitter @Airbnb3

@Dejan6 I don't see any phone-support numbers for Serbia, so I suggest that you initiate your contact with AirBnB via their Twitter account. Send a *Direct Message* (not just a plain tweet) to their account, @AirbnbHelp. If you don't know how to do that, ask a friend. I use that Twitter access method from here in the US even though they have phone numbers. The Twitter support team are pretty good, and they'll put you in email or phone contact with someone if necessary.

Good luck!

TNX, I just did that! Now I wait for the respond.

@Dejan6 How did it go? Did they get back to you? And could they help you?
