Cencellation Due to "professional emergencies"

My reservation cancelled today due to "professional emergencies" where they have to leave for their home country on the next flight and the whole reservation since 31st Aug was cancelled / refund for that reason. Does anyone know what is "professional emergencies"

@Gary5 I have no idea what a professional emergency is, but I do not believe it falls under   extenuating circumstances. Hopefully, the guest had travel insurance. Therefore, whatever your cancellation policy was at the time the guest made the reservation is what applies in this situation. Also, guest cancels the reservation, not you.

But the guest stayed since 31st Aug (and left today). The 4 nights has been refunded for that reason

Which cancellation policy do you have? If you have Flexible they'll get some refund.
