Challenge using Chrome to send Messages

I'm using a Macbook (OSX 10.11.2) and Chrome (40.2) and am having no ability to send messages following the Airbnb message links. I'm working around it by finding the email message sent via Airbnb and replying each time. Any suggestions of what might be going on and how to make this work. Thanks.

I, too, cannot reply to messages within the message center while using Chrome. (I'm a PC person.) What's up, Air BnB? I hate to switch browsers just to reply to a guest.
