Change the revie system Airbnb !! Listen to hosts

I’m sick of the unfair review system I just submitted this to Airbnb feedback but I need your thoughts on how to globally unite our forces to make a change.
aby thought on how to be heard?
let’s do something instead to complain that they don’t listen and keep winging

To whom actually can do something about it in your Airbnb team

I am a super host since I start(5 yers ago ) consistently giving my best to this platform with my cottage, my time, hard work and spoiling with all I can my guests.
A part from the feeling that the guests win always abd guests pay more the consequences, had ia few tantrums from cheeky guests asking refund without proven facts and Airbnb Leah toward them penalising hosts ( often asking profs within a few hours without giving the time to us to gather quotes for repairing guests ness etc ) there is a long list I could write ...
But mosktky fears infuriated me is the review system
I find it misleading to uneducated guests, outdated and difficult to have a fairness. It’s also stressful for us host ( I’m a supervisor with 5 stars overall reviews 250 review and hundreds if guests pleased
I see that I’ll never get that 100% in the fill total cause of a couple if guests put a 4 star in value. How they cab compare to other places that are totally different from each other’s ? Accomodating first time guests ( that accepts even without reviews cause we all have to start somewhere ) and I find here in Australia that most guests have no idea of the Airbnb home style accomodations as they were used to hotels around or hotel in bali or overseas
I’m a single mum supporting my teens , maintaining my home and our cottage, in a caring and honest way since day one
I’m updating my cottage with stylish touches giving more than described in my listing
My prices are less than a motel average room and EVERY comment and review gives me 5 star overall and beautiful appreciative personal comments.
After years of 5 stars mostly international travellers because if the covid restrictions lately have 4 star only in value as new Australian guests can’t compare yet with other places
This is disappointing as I know that it’s just ignorance
I do hope and actually DEMAND more care of your hosts as they are the ones giving THEIR OWN HOMES supporting your business
Listen to us and please make a change setting up a simpler reviews system , should be more clear and more fair for both hosts and guests.
I’m a part of a few hosts groups and everyone is disappointed sadly giving up hope that you’ll listen or worse giving up this platform
Show us that you care and you listen
Kindest

I absolutely agree and support!

It is not understandable why Airbnb doesn't support their (Super-) hosts.

After 300 + positive reviews ( 4.8) I had on scammer guests, that threatened with a bad review -and did it, its an insulting and offending fraudulent review, filled with lies and wrong accusations- But Airbnb "support" doesnt delete it. Unbelieveable.

How can Airbnb allow bad reviews (3 stars or less) about HOUSE RULES? And  specifically,  SECURITY RELATED RUles???

THIS IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE: Rules are published before guests reserve, we are  trustworthy superhosts, and AIRBNB ALREADY SPENDS MONEY ON THEIR 24 HOUR PHONE ASSISTANCE THAT CAN  READ MOST RULES IN 5 minutes. Or less.

AIRBNB is waisting resources “reviewing cases”- WHICH TAKES LONGER THAN CONFIRMING THE  RULE THE  GUEST IS COMPLAINING ABOUT, and frustrating their star providers.- BAD BUSINESS for everyone if they keep it up

I CALLED  airbnb the 3 times I got 3 stars for this reason, the  last reply I got  from a “SPECIALIST” was that “GUESTS HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH” .... referring to a guest whose children got into restricted areas.

I feel ver insecure now.

Hopefully more hosts will join this conversation and we can make some noise and be heard ? Share it please

@Donatella164  If you do a search on this forum, you will find that hosts have been making noise about this for years. Thousands of hosts. There are 40 page threads on this already. Joining this conversation won't help. Airbnb doesn't care.

I agree with you, Donatella.
there are real disbalance in wrights in AirBnB review policy - hosts and guests are not equal.
and "bad without reason" reviews from newbe guests (or "little not honest" people) make distortion of reality for other guests reading this.
Another case - when "review text" is not bad, but marks (stars) are low without proofs.
The hosts need different new fair mechanism for calculating ratings.

AIRBNB DOES NOT CARE. The reviews are not $. We feel you @Donatella164  and can relay to you 100%. We've been hosting for over 7 years, shared our home with over 3000 guests, been there when Airbnb still needed us, the hosts and are struggling now then they abuse our trust, devotion and willingness to open our homes. There is no way we can improve this before the company truly suffers and only THEN they may reconsider. Just look at how they are compromising the standards for Superhosts. When they, as a company look bad and let's say do not have enough superhosts, they will lower the standards, so there is certain percent of hosts on their platform with the flashy sign beside their profile picture. Makes us sick. But that is the reality of the company that SOOO worry about equality, blah, blah, blah... Consider hosting through VRBO, Glamping Hub, Hipcamp, Booking, those are, I am afraid, the only options we have to change this sad issue 😞

I totally agree.  The system Airbnb put on is unfair and math doesn't add up.   I'm demanding it changes it and wrote to the feedback link several times...to no avail.  Very disappointing.
