Charging for one extra night (arrived day early)

Hello the guest booked 2-22 July.  He is checking out in the next hour.  They arrived on 1 July and have asked if the extra night (night of 1 July) could be charged to them through Air BnB.  I have tried to modify the booking in reservations, however it won't let me go back and put in a date that has passed.  I cannot extend their stay and charge the extra night at the end as there are new guests arriving today.  Can you tell me how to charge for the night of 1 July please?  Thank you.
