From 9th July 2021 onwards the access to hotels and similar accommodation in Portugal's mainland is subject to a mandatory presentation by customers, at check-in, of a COVID Digital Certificate from the European Union or a negative test (children under 12 years old are exempt).
10 days ago I had an issue with a group which was not checking in together. Only one of them check in on the first date of the reservation. Therefore, I asked them to mail me the COVID Digital Certificates ultimately on the check in date. Unfortunately, without a reply.
I therefore contacted support, who referred to case to a specialist. Fortunately, we finally obtained the certificates the evening before check in since we are STILL WAITING for help/advice from support.
