Co-hosting fees deducted from what I receive on my account

Dear community, I am a new host and have a co-host. I see that the organisation deduct immediately the part I assigned to my co-host. Is this normal or shouldn't I receive the total amount after which I pay my co-host?

Thanks for your kind advice

Hello!

I am a co-host here in Denver. I am paid at the same time the host is. I get my $50 cleaning fee and my 10% commission sent to me and the host gets the rest, usually about 24 hours after the guests check in.

I believe this is set us this way so that the host doesn't "forget" to pay the co-host the agreed upon fees. Then it becomes a dispute and AirBnB does not like to be the middle man.

I certainly appreciate it as a co-host. I have already done the bookings and the cleaning so I should get paid when the host does. They are out of the country and who knows when they would get around to paying me.
