Combined reviews scores

I have two properties almost next door to each other in which one has a 2 reviews  and the other 9 reviews making it 11 reviews in total.  All these reviews are 4.9 or 5.  I asked if these reviews could be combined making it 11 reviews in total - enough I though to become a superhost.  I was informed that this is not the case and reviews cannot becombined and yet I see properties with 4 reviews and a superhost.  Can anyone tell me why this is the case?

@Pauline-Houston0 you need 10 stays or 3 stays with more than a 100 days over the past year to become a Superhost and your reviews are older than a year so that is why they don't come into consideration. You can check your progress in your profile and see what you need to improve.

Thank you - no one has ever said that to me before - all I was informed was that the totals for the two cottages could not be added together and yet there are houses out there with only a review score of 5 and they are superhosts amd left it at that - which was making me confused

@Pauline-Houston0 actually your overall rating is taken into consideration for all your properties together over the past year and the system is automated, they don't add or take away any reviews.
