Concerns regarding a possible fake account, would you able to guide me my next steps if needed

Hi folks,
few concerns about a booking I made a couple of days ago with an air bnb host in Aruba.  I made a decision to book an entire apartment for my husband and I for 11 days in near perfect location next January.  price per night wasn't overly cheap or anything, more like going rate at the area.
I've used Air bnb services since 2015 and all positive but this time I booked a place WITHOUT REVIEWS, even though the host has signed up with Air BnB  sometime February 2018 according to his profile.
I thought I would give him the benefit of a doubt. BUT now when i did additional investigation, studying his account, his pictures, googling his name (no mentions), his property address (he mentions that he lives in the same property),  I haven't  found anything weird, until I noticed  that  under his Air BnB profile he has the SAME  apartment (2 bedrooms (one double bed and one single bed, open kitchen, living room, shower, toilet etc) listed THREE times WITH SAME PICTURES SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT ANGLES. 1. in Spanish with one bedroom picture with a bigger bed (no picture of the 2nd bedroom) This is the one we booked, and I messaged him couple of time to clarify that even though he is mentioning 2 bedrooms, he is only showing one bedroom in the gallery of pictures. He confirmed that yes, it is with two bedrooms.  2. in Spanish with only one bedroom picture with 2 smaller beds (no picture of the 2nd bedroom), exact same kitchen, toilet, living room pictures. 3.  also in English but this time he has all the same pictures slightly different angles (so one picture doesn't show the apartment number at the entrance (2) since the pilar is now on the way because of the angle the picture was taken. BUT IM AN 99% SURE IT IS THE SAME APARTMENT right next to a tiny pool.  On top of that he now has those two bedrooms shown in this  3rd listing and the price is 20 dollars more per night. Lastly, which really alerted me was that from all of these three listings, he has updated the calendar for the part we are staying (listing 1.) but not the two other... Another concern I have is that how come Air bnb has three verification ticks for me, but only one for this new Host, what could be verified? his mobile number? his bank account? his pictures?  Could you guys assist me what would be my next step, contact Oscar the host (hisn english isnt the greatest), or the Air bnb Admin,
I am hoping to get another opinion maybe even a similar experience and I do not want to be hysterical and flag him over nothing same time jeopardizing our booking as it is definitely one of the best ones in the area. I don't want to trigger him either and that way losing a good deal.
Thank you guys for taking time to read my ramble.

Why are you sure it is not three separate but identical apartments?

Hey Lisa, you can tell from the pictures, as I mentioned, it's evident they are exactly the same. Thought giving him a benefit of a doubt but he says he following: the swimming pool is shared only with my house which is next to the apartment. Surely if there were apartment 2. and 3. with the same (exact) front yard, have an access to the use of the pool?   it doenst make sense that we would have only access (and according to the other listings we are paying 20 dollar less from the night. quite the benefit dont you think.

hey wanted to add that regarding his  verification, it's his mobile number that has been verified.  That ONLY, should i be concerned, how is that enough verification from the host? in the mean time while waiting for your input, I'll contact this Oscar dude to enquire how many apartments he has in his property as he seems to have three of the same listings with exact same pictures and neither of the two calendars have been updated etc.  Don't want to wimp out on this, just reaaaaly wanted to stay in this apartment. I guess I'm hoping that Air bnb would contact the guy asking to verify the apartment being one or three different, and delete the other two postings and so on. But the fact remains, if he is trying to trible book people then even if he deletes the other two. he is dodgy as hell and can't be trusted. sigh...

Hello @Anki0 ,

The hosts probably listed each bedroom seperately ( 2 listings) and a third listing for both of them (or whole apartment). Normally the calenders are linked to prevent double booking, but maybe the host is doing  it manually and forgot to update. But if listing is saying: 2 bedrooms, then it is recomended also

show both bedrooms in the photos. And they should also be mentioned under : "sleeping arrangements".

Also they max. amount of guests should reflect the available beds to sleep.

Best regards,

Emiel

Thanks Emiel,
Good point about the having three listings doesnt necessarily mean he is trying to triple book people, I wasnt aware that host can do that. But since he made an effort to alter slightly the third listing (I'm guessing it was him not air bnb) when he rotated all the pictures in the gallery to a correct position, they were all sideways, he might as well could have updated the calendar on that part as well. What i could do I guess is to message him and reminding him to update the two other calendars for the dates we are coming.  Just to see what happens.
He might not be the most tech-savvy person when it comes to updating profiles online.

@Anki0 I sort of doubt it is a scam; if so it doesn't seem like a very effective one. It seems more likely that this host inadvertently created three listings and doesn't realize they are all live. In your shoes I would call Airbnb and ask them to sort it out. Your question is not unreasonable.

Thanks Lisa and Branka & Silvia, I've done a massive amount of more investigations (found out he is Peruvian and where he works),  spoke to my husband, and we think yes he is a bit dodgy, perhaps even lazy with updating his calendars properly. I don't think he is trying to pull a big scam, but worse case scenario, he will cancel our cheaper booking at some point before the trip and instead takes the more expensive booking.  Greedy and silly, but probably not a first who has done that if air bnb lets people have several listings of the same apartment.   I will still send him a message tomorrow asking him to update his other two calendars for the dates we are coming since he only has one apartment available for rent, no ifs and buts.  We'll see what he does, just hate the uncertainty... when trying to plan ahead of our trip,  locations, distances and so on.

We'll update if something drastic happens.
Saludos.
