Constructive Feedback Please: How Can I Increase Booking Rate?

Hello everyone!

My husband and I recently added a new listing. So far we've gotten a ton of views and not too many bookings. A couple of reviews so far and all are really good. I think the photos look decent and inviting for the most part. The lack of utilities and facilities is more than likely a big issue for some, but we've also seen similar listings that are doing well without it. We receive quite a good amount of inquiries but the booking ratio isn't so great from that either. 

Anyway, what I'm really wondering is how can we convert the inquiries to bookings?

- We activated the listing on 4/22/18 

- Total of 969 views in under 30 days since activation date

- The booking rate for this listing is currently at 0.9% only

- 2 Night Min is required for weekends and holidays only. 

- 21% Weekly discount

@Jenny-And-Victor0   The Joshua Tree tent will have a specific market that you will have to find.  You may need to market on those sites that appeal to the type of guest that will fit.

You might want to try the platform Hipcamp.com   Maybe you would get more bookings with people who are looking for that type of stay.  Good Luck!

@Jenny-And-Victor0 while of course we all want more bookings, a booking rate of 0.9% is completely normal.

Our most fully occupied listing has a booking rate of 0.8% right now.
